1. How long have you been burning for and how did you discover pyrography/what got you started?
I’ve been burning since 2009 when I discovered this fun way to turn my illustration skills into a sensory experience creating functional art on wood. I’ve been hooked ever since!
2. Describe your style in three words
Bold, Intricate, Nature-inspired
3. What are your favorite tools to use when wood burning (machines, nibs, wood, other odd tools etc...)?
My favorite tool is my Razertip SS-D10, but I also use other pyrography machines as well as torches to create the effect I want.
4. Do you make any other kind of art? What kinds of other mediums do you like to work with?
I’m mostly a pyro these days, but I do enjoy adding mixed media elements to my burns to change it up! I play around with different colors and other natural materials like leather and stones.
5. What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I am a raspberry farmer.
